Prof. Shih-Lin Wu has been the Direct of AI Innovation Research Center, Chang Gung University, since 2018. Chang Gung University is a top-tier research-oriented university in Taiwan, with national ranking top-5 and global ranking around 300-400th. To develop artificial intelligence (AI)-related technologies, the center was formally established in 2018 with the full support of Chang Gung University and Formosa Plastics Group (FPG). It is the first AI center that cross-medical and manufacturing in Taiwan and is expected to become Asia's top and world-renowned AI center. The center is very different from others because of two unique features: (1) rich enterprise field data and (2) real application fields. We have collaborated with affiliated hosptials/companies of FPG to proceed with the smart medical/manufacturing related-projects. The center already has some amazing achievements which are applying to hospitals and factories. We extend the warm welcome to international students and offer a scholarship (15,000 NTD/month) and student accommodation (the accommodation fee is 7,650 - 14,200 NTD/semester).
