A Circular economy policy is the principle to achieve resource efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure that resources can be sustainable consumption and production. The major research interests of Professor Ming-Chien Su is focused on organic waste, to recycle as renewable resources and energy. The circular economy implementation of Taiwan is the integration of waste management strategies and policies in which there are many successful cases to promote to the Asian countries. The main recruitment targets are two young scholars of the Royal Bhutan government, NGOs, and the Royal Bhutan University. The young scholar will learn and have educational experience for 3 months. The learning target is focused on the application of the circular economy, waste management, and assessing suitable technology. The learning program will include analyzing problems and finding solutions for waste management in Bhutan. Meanwhile, I will arrange several practical training mini-programs in the government agencies and the private cooperations. The expectation of the project performance is to establish a Taiwan-Bhutan network of resource efficiency and circular economy. To help Bhutan to establish a waste management policy, strategy based on the circular economy conceptual framework, and even with the practical cooperation with Taiwan.
