We are looking for talented undergraduate/graduate-level students to join us in Spring/Summer as full-time research intern in Yang Research Group (YRG), led by Prof. Shang-Hua Yang at the department of electrical engineering at National Tsing Hua University. YRG focuses on terahertz devices, high-speed electronics, non-destructive sensing and imaging systems for standoff tomographic scanning of many concealed chemicals, explosives, pharmaceutical materials, semiconductor structures/defects and biological agents in real-time. In this program, research interns will focus on analyzing light-matter interactions of chemicals, semiconductor materials and biological samples within terahertz frequency range. Applicants will have a first class or upper second class honours degree (or equivalent) in the engineering/science program. Successful candidates will have strong math and programming skills. An additional master's level research experience in data modeling, optics or statistics is a benefit, though not required. The official language of YRG is English. Additionally, we provide 4000 NTD scholarship and assist the prospective students to apply NTHU dormitory.
