National Ilan University (NIU) is of the oldest institutions of higher education in Taiwan. It marked the highlight of this qualified promotion with projects to expedite high-level research and teaching for new generations. Professor Chang-Tang Chang is a distinguished professor in the department of environmental engineering. His research interests include water/wastewater treatment, water resources regeneration, air pollution control, waste recovery and management, hydrogen production, soil and groundwater remediation, biotechnology and its applications, environmental monitoring and assessment, environmental management system, environment maintenance and management equipment and renewable energy.

National Ilan University Department of Environmental Engineering provides internship opportunities for four-six months to international students. We also supply the dormitory and insurance. The monthly salary is beyond 8000 NT dollars, dependent on performance.
