Prof. Ping-shan Lai’s research topics on developing a new functional nanomaterial to solve problems encountered in medicine, including early diagnosis and treatment of cancer, drug resistance of cancer cells, etc., and can be extended to cosmetics, and health care products.

The main research directions are as follows:
1. Development of novel and versatile nano-carriers
2. Evaluation of in vivo antitumor effect of nanocarriers
3. Oral drug development
4. Development of immune dosage forms
5. Polymer-based drug delivery system
6. Iron oxide-based drug delivery system

We are welcome Indian students who are interested in the above research topic and come here for 3 to 6-month study. In our lab, we have facilities to characterize nano-materials, In vitro and In vivo studies.
